Jill's first job was with the TSB Bank in Upper Street in North London. Jill used to finish work and walk to meet me as I left work at a company called Classic Display which was also in Upper Street. We would then go to a cafe for a cup of coffee or fish and chips if we were hungry. We would also go out for weekend rides to the countryside on my Vespa scooter for a picnic which Jill loved to do. Every week we used to go to Bennett Court Social Club and go dancing and jiving the night away before I walked Jill back home to Citizen Road in Holloway.
